Avery Greene Honda – Vehicle Spotlight – 2019 Honda Civic Preview

The Honda Civic has been one of the most reliable names in the auto industry for as long as most can remember — its legacy runs back nine generations, which is impressive in and of itself. The new, 10th-generation 2019 Honda Civic Sedan and Coupe promises to carry that flame to a new batch of drivers with more technology, improved style, and an all-new trim.

Honda Sensing®

Every 2019 Honda Civic Sedan and Coupe will feature Honda Sensing® technology as standard equipment. The Honda Sensing® suite provides more confidence for drivers with cutting-edge technologies including Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS™) with Forward Collision Warning, Road Departure Mitigation (RDM) with Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).

The New Honda Civic Sport

The Sport trim, previously only available for the Civic Hatchback, will be offered as part of the lineup for the 2019 Honda Civic Coupe and Sedan. The Civic Sport will feature a piano black lower front fascia, splitter-style rear lower bumper, 18-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels finished in Berlina Black, and side pod accents, as well as a rear decklid spoiler for the Civic Sport Sedan. The Sport will be powered by a 2.0-liter 16-valve DOHC i-VTEC® engine mated to either a six-speed manual or a CVT with G-Shift Control.

Style

The Honda Civic has always earned points with drivers for the way it looks and the way it feels, which is why the Civic Coupe earned the top spot in its segment in the J.D. Power 2017 APEAL study. For the 10th generation, the Civic will improve even more on that winning style with a new, piano black upper fascia “wing”; a new lower fascia, bumper, and grille; and a front splitter.

America’s infatuation with the Honda Civic is bound to continue once it gets a load of the all-new 2019 Honda Civic Sedan and Coupe. To get yourself experienced, stop into Avery Greene Honda.
