Under the hood of the 2020 Insight, you will find a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine. This engine works with a two-motor system and a lithium-ion battery to produce a total system output of 151.5 horsepower. It comes standard with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), and allows you to choose from two driving modes to suit your mood – ECON and Sport.
The amount of fuel-efficiency you receive depends on the trim level you choose. For the LX and EX trim levels, you will get an EPA-estimated fuel-efficiency rating of 55 mpg in the city and 49 mpg on the highway,* The Touring trim has a rating of 51 mpg in the city and 45 mpg on the highway.*

When you’re behind the wheel of this hybrid car, you will be able to stay in-touch with ease. Its available Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ smartphone integration gives you access to your favorite smartphone apps directly on your Insight’s touchscreen display. A Wi-Fi hotspot is also available, giving your passengers the chance to stream videos, send work emails, or scroll through social media without having to worry about eating up their data.
