Whether you’re out and about running errands or working all day, you no longer have to worry about missing important Amazon deliveries. If you would rather not have your package sitting out on your front porch, then we have good news for you. You can now opt to get your Amazon packages delivered to the inside of your Honda with Key by Amazon In-Car Delivery.*
To access this service, you need to make sure you have an updated HondaLink® Remote package subscription and are specifically located within one of 50 US cities and surrounding areas. You also need to be a member of Amazon Prime.
How It Works
If you want your package delivered to your vehicle with as little hassle as possible, these are some of steps that you can take:
- Download the Key by Amazon app on your smartphone and set it up with ease
- Go shopping on Amazon for whatever it is you need and select in-car delivery when you check out
- Park your vehicle in a publicly accessible area within a two-block radius of your selected delivery address
- Make note of your four-hour delivery time window
- When you receive the “Arriving Now” notification from the delivery driver, wait for the driver to scan the package and request for the vehicle to be unlocked
- Unlock your car via the HondaLink® app and wait as the driver places the package inside your car, then lock your vehicle again
What Cars is It Available On?
The Key by Amazon In-Car Delivery feature is available for free to those Honda owners who own a specific model year and trim level of the following vehicles:
- Honda Accord
- Honda Accord Hybrid
- Honda Insight
- Honda Passport
- Honda Pilot
- Honda Odyssey
