2022 Honda Ridgeline | Avery Greene Honda | Vallejo, CA
Just because you want to own a pickup truck in Vallejo, California, doesn’t mean you need it for grueling off-road work or strenuous towing jobs. Here in the San Francisco Bay area, having a truck can be useful for hauling furniture, towing your boat to the beach, or navigating steep inclines in the Golden City.
That’s why compact and midsize pickups like the Honda Ridgeline are popular among some drivers in Solano County. The HondaRidgeline is designed to provide comfortable transportation during commutes and the flexibility for occasional weekend utility.
The 2022 Honda Ridgeline is available in four different trim levels: Sport, RTL, RTL-E, and Black Edition. Choose which version you want based on your budget and the features you want most.
Then, configure your Ridgeline with any of the available manufacturer or accessory packages, such as the Utility Package, Function Package, HPD™ Black Package, Adventure Package, Outdoor Essentials Package, or Protection Package. You can also choose from dozens of official aftermarket accessories, such as a roof rack for your bike, stylish fender flares, or a bed tent for a weekend under the stars at Mt. Diablo or Yosemite.
You can even personalize it by choosing from a half-dozen different exterior colors. We often recommend Pacific Pewter Metallic, as it’s a fitting choice for Californians here on the Pacific coast.
Whether you order your Honda Ridgeline through Avery Greene Honda or buy one from our current inventory, we’ll help you find the version that can best you’re needs.
Performance And Towing
You’ll find one engine offered on the 2022 Ridgeline: a 280-horsepower V6. As the only motor available for the truck, Honda engineered it to achieve a balance of power and efficiency. Being that it yields 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, the engine equips the Ridgeline to tow up to 5,000 pounds with the proper equipment, which is enough for a pop-up camper, hitch-mounted cargo carrier, or small trailer.
A useful upgrade to the Ridgeline’s performance is the available i-VMT4® all-wheel drive system. Using Intelligent Traction Management, this drivetrain routes power where it’s need most to maintain stability and traction on rain-covered hills and muddy fields.
Bed Size And Cargo Hauling
If you’re interested in owning a pickup truck, you no doubt are considering it for the usefulness of the open cargo bed. The Ridgeline has a versatile bed with intelligent functions and robust construction.
A highlight of the bed’s design is its scratch-resistant liner, so you can toss a load of patio stones in without having to worry about leaving unsightly scrapes behind. The Ridgeline boasts an industry-first dual-hinge tailgate that opens down or to the side, depending on how you prefer to reach inside the bed.
Any small, loose items you don’t want to keep in the cab or rolling around in the bed you can stash in the lockable In-Bed Trunk®. It’s a standard inclusion on every 2022 Ridgeline.
Want to upgrade your truck bed for tailgating parties at football games in downtown San Francisco? Add an optional truck bed audio system to blast your pre-game playlist and LED bed lights for when the sun goes down.
Interior Comfort And Design
Where the Ridgeline shines most is on the inside — that is, within the cab. Honda designers crafted the Ridgeline to be a comfortable, sensible ride for daily driving. Most other pickup trucks aren’t designed for daily commutes and extended road trips, but the Ridgeline is.
Every 2022 Ridgeline has four-door access to two rows of seating, so you can accommodate a family or adventure crew of five people. The rear seats have comparable headroom, shoulder room, and legroom to the front seats, measuring just a few inches less in each aspect. To keep the rear row from becoming too crowded with personal items, use the under-seat storage beneath the Lift-Up Rear Seat.
Use the Tri-Zone Automatic Climate Control System with Humidity Control and Air Filtration to keep the cab comfortable when the frigid NorCal wind is extra breezy.
Higher trim levels of the Ridgeline add luxury enhancements like ambient lighting, illuminated beverage holders, a heated leather steering wheel, and 10-Way Power Adjustment with Lumbar Support on the driver’s seat.
Honda provides many technology features on even the base-level version of the Ridgeline, so you don’t have to pay extra for many of the things you want.
Check out the 8-Inch Display Audio with High-Resolution Electrostatic Touch-Screen and customize it as desired. Connect your smartphone via tools like HondaLink®, Bluetooth® HandsFreeLink®, Apple CarPlay®, and Android Auto™. Plug in a phone charger to one of the in-cab 12-volt power outlets. All of these are standard features on the 2022 Ridgeline.
When it comes to safety technology, the Ridgeline makes sure you have that too, with its Honda Sensing® being a standard inclusion on every 2022 Ridgeline. This package of helpful driving awareness and response systems includes Collision Mitigation Braking System™, Road Departure Mitigation System, Lane Keeping Assist System, Forward Collision Warning, and Lane Departure Warning. Adaptive Cruise Control can help make commuting across the crowded Bay Area bridges less tedious. Higher trim levels add Blind Spot Information System with Cross Traffic Monitor.
